Tuvok and Janeway conspire to finally get Neelix off the ship. Join your Neelixed hosts as they discuss a controversial character’s final goodbye. This is a fun episode of the podcast, with lots of goofy gags and clever comments! The episode did not provide fodder for any of Dan’s games, however, so that was a bummer. At one point Patrick and Dan get too testy with each other and Jesse is all like “Oh man!” but in the end everything was fine. Dan and Patrick are going to see Christopher Nolan’s The Odyssey on Tuesday, so we can presume they still love each other so so much. Especially considering Patrick has seen it in the theaters twice already, but is eager to see it again. Proper discussion of the episode starts at the beginning of the second segment (i dunno, maybe around 30ish minutes in?). Listener male and host-related nonsense occupies the bulk of the first segment. The final segment has amazing content, but you shouldn’t skip ahead cause there are probably many amazing callbacks and such. Oh! I think Jesse says the phrase “Oh my word!” or something to that effect multiple times.
Spoiler warning! We dive right into a detail-rich discussion of this episode of Star Trek: Voyager, so if you haven’t had a chance to see it yet – beware!
Next week: We discuss belly-worm-focused Star Trek: Deep Space Nine’s “Invasive Procedures”
Note that this and all episodes of the It’s Got Star Trek podcast contain explicit language and, frankly, an unnecessary amount of offensive content, so the show is intended only for adults and really really cool kids.
